Dogs are very lovable and entertaining. They are also super cute and are the most loyal companions.
Although this sweet beagle-basset hound mix has both traits, that’s not the reason why he is getting famous. It’s because he has a unique talent, similar to his owner’s favorite artist.
Buddy Mercury, a rescue dog who is named after Queen’s Freddie Mercury, lives in Ronkonkoma, Long Island, with his owners. He lives with Laurie and Glen Wolfe, and baby sister, Eve. Aside from being adorable, he loves “playing” the piano.
When the Wolfes first brought Buddy home a few years ago, they noticed something odd about the little pooch. He was fascinated by playing with their piano.
The talented beagle is able to stand up on his legs in front of the piano while pressing the keys with his paws. He’d then tilt his head backward and howl along to the tune as if he had played the piano all his life.
Glen and Laurie shared that they never taught him this. Isn’t that impressive? The furry friend just started doing it all on his own.
Since the Wolfes loved Buddy’s antics, they started filming and sharing videos of his performances online. His adorable mini-concerts have made millions of people smile and have made him a viral sensation.
In one of his most viewed videos is when Eve, his sister, became his backup dancer. As seen in the video, Buddy approached the piano and started howling his little heart out as he pressed the keys. Meanwhile, little Eve grabbed her toy guitar and swayed her hips from side to side.
The two get along great, especially when it’s their jam session.
The Wolfes share that they’re not trying to become famous. They’re hoping that by sharing Buddy’s videos, it will help spread awareness about animals who need a forever home.
Watch their entertaining jam session below, and share to help encourage others to adopt homeless and abandoned animals.
