We all love our dogs. In most cases, we love those fur-babies to the moon and back that we’d do everything to make them happy and comfortable. But, do you love your dogs enough to build them a palace? Kylee Ryan and her partner Josh Bunce, apparently love their dogs just like that.

Kylee and Ryan both live in Jade City, British Columbia, with their five dogs. They say that Jade City is a place where there are more dogs than people, and Kylee’s household is kind of proof to that. As such, Josh thought about starting a DIY project – building a massive dog palace for their dogs to run and play.

Since the couple owns a big property in Jade City, they decided to build a place for their dogs to play. But, they had to ensure that the dogs are not left out in the open. The couple is aware of the dangers as there are lots of natural predators where they live. Hence, Josh started the project by fencing off a significant area within the property.

Josh was only planning to build a dog house in the beginning. However, the couple’s imagination began to run wild, and the rest, as they say, is history. In the end, the lucky dogs have a fenced-in area, a three-story dog palace, a treehouse, as well as pools to cool down after a day of playing.

According to Kylee, Josh started out building a one-story dog house. In the midst of it, Josh thought that each of their dogs should have a space of their own. Thus, an additional floor was added. And then, he added another level. Kylee was astonished because the dog palace is vast and sturdy – it can even hold humans.

The treehouse was built for their husky, who likes to have a private area of her own. It’s like a private deck for the adorable pooch. An additional dog walks to a platform in the trees was also built because the other huskies also like looking out from a high area.

All in all, it took Josh two years to complete the construction. The good thing, though, is that they spent nothing on the project. Josh used 100 percent recycled materials found in their property.
