Dogs can also be man’s lifesavers. Since most humans developed incredible bonds with dogs, dogs will do everything for their humans. This includes being there when tragedy happens. This man from North Carolina recently realized this when his dog saved him from apparent death.
Rudy Armstrong is already at the twilight of his life. Before he retired, the man was with the United States Navy for quite a long year. The Navy personnel met a chihuahua named Bubu and decided to adopt the dog for good.
The two would often do things together, like eating and playing. In short, Rudy and Bubu became the best of friends. When the man retired, he decided to live with the dog on a houseboat that Rudy himself had built.
It was the retirement dream that Rudy looked forward to after he served the Navy. Everything went well with the two until things got rough one morning. Based on Rudy’s accounts, he was sitting on his chair while drinking coffee like he usually does every morning.
All of a sudden, the man could not move his body. It turned out that Rudy suffered from a stroke. During that time, Rudy could not move his hands to get his phone and call 911.
Fortunately, Bubu realized that her fur parent is in trouble. This is why the dog sprang into action and sought help from a neighbor. It was a dockmaster by the name of Kim, who immediately went to check on Rudy. The dog managed to convince Kim to come with her.
When Kim realized that the dog wants to warn him about something, the man joined the dog. Kim then saw Rudy almost lifeless. He immediately called help, and they brought the man to a hospital. Fortunately, Rudy survived the ordeal.
