An adult can surely relate to a child who finds joy in playing with toys. Toys become a child’s first friend and source of creativity. But it is not only humans who find comfort in owning a toy. Dogs, too, find happiness when they play with a toy.

Nicole Marie Wasieleski discovered this when she adopted a new dog. Nicole volunteers for the Animal Rescue League of Iowa and is a proud fur mom to two rescue dogs. She said that she does not have any plans to adopt a new dog. The reason for this is that two rescue dogs are already enough for her.

But when Nicole met Kairi, she had a change of heart. Out of pity and the eagerness to give the dog a better life, Nicole adopted her third dog in Kairi. According to Nicole, when she visited the shelter where the dog stays, she could not take her eyes off Kairi.

There is something in the dog that she found irresistible. So, the woman inquired about the dog and learned the dog’s story. According to the volunteers, Kairi got dumped by her former owners. This news saddened Nicole.

Nicole could not turn a blind eye on the pooch because she understands the dog’s struggle. This resulted in Nicole adopting Kairi for good. Before she brought the dog home, Nicole and Kairi dropped by a dog store. Nicole wanted Kairi to pick a toy for her to bring to her new environment.

The woman was surprised when Kairi picked a pink dinosaur out of the many available toys. Nonetheless, Nicole bought the toy for the pooch. Since then, Kairi would often bring her toy wherever she goes. Nicole mentioned that the dog finds security and comfort in the pink dinosaur, which they named Dino.
