Kathryn is a sweet cat who sought refuge in an empty rental apartment in a town in South Africa. She was pregnant during the time she got discovered by the new tenants of the new apartment. Since the new tenants did not know what to do with the cat, they asked help from the Langebaan Animal Care.

When the volunteers arrived at the apartment, they then brought with them, Kathryn. Kathryn’s kittens, though, did not survive. This affected the cat’s dealing with life. At the shelter, Izelle Marallich found Kathryn interesting, so she adopted the feline. Izelle serves as the chairperson of the animal shelter.

Aside from having Kathryn, Izelle is likewise home to three foster dogs. When Kathryn arrived at the house, Izelle got astounded because the feline showed care towards the three foster dogs. The cat and the three dogs would often cuddle with each other to keep themselves warm.

The three dogs are still young, and Izelle named them as Ben, Mat, and Kriel. Izelle decided to foster these three dogs because she knew that it would be difficult for them to survive at the animal shelter. Additionally, Izelle thought that the three dogs are not cut for the shelter’s life.

Nonetheless, Izelle still looks for a temporary home for the three dogs. Whenever she is not around, Izelle tasks Kathryn to look after the three dogs. The cat would often do what she does best. As soon as she returns home, Izelle becomes happy to see that the dogs are having a good time with their temporary mother cat.

According to Izelle, she admires Kathryn very much. The reason for this is that the cat has an excellent maternal instinct. While she had lost her babies in the past, Kathryn still managed to give love to three dogs that she does not even know.
